What to do during the full moon


The full moon is the time when the light and power of the moon is strongest. Almost everywhere when people talk about the full moon and how the power of it can be used they speak about emotional release and letting go. In this article I will show you how exactly this can happen.

First I want to let you understand how important this is. Every day of our life bring us many new things. Some are good but others make us feel bad and sometimes even unable to move on. The stress of our everyday life is something normal for us because it was always part of our life. But is this stress positive and do we really need it? In fact the answer is yes. We need the stress because it is only a reaction that makes us work better and harder but for a short time. Then if not released it could slowly destroy us.

Today we are in stress almost all of the time. It usually is not something that we can prevent from happening but it is a good idea when we don’t need it to let it go.

The full moon completes the moon and it is the final state. It is time when everything is done and we need to rejuvenate to face the new.

As always we can start with a prayer. In fact here we can invite some angelic force or other positive spiritual being to be with us as we begin letting go.

We have to choose exactly what we don’t need any more. It could be just stress, some bad emotions, or some problems that we are unable to deal with.

It is best if this is done in the night and we can look in the full moon. To actually see one of the forces that can help us. Now we can use everything that we want. Candles and incense or even a simple object that make us feel good.

We have to be fully relaxed. One of the best techniques to relax is deep breathing. Slowly for approximately seven seconds we breathe in using our diaphragm. Then without holding we release the air. It is important to keep the breaths even.

Now it is time to use visualization. This is when we make something in our mind. Here we will begin feeling the light of the moon around us and in our mind (eyes closed) we begin to increase this light. It is now all around us – bright and brilliant.

When we breathe in we have to feel and see how we take in that light. It is the bringer of the positive energy. We then breathe out feeling and seeing how all the negative energy is released from us.

Now when this is done it is time to think about everything that we chosen to let go. We will see it as something big and scary but slowly it will be begin to vanish. We have to actually feel in the end that it is completely gone.

This and many other techniques could help us let go and release all the bad energy and problems that we face. With the power of the full moon – let that happen.
