It is in the seasons, highlighted by the Solstice and Equinox. It is in the waxing and waning of the moon. It is in your emotional waves of happiness and sadness. It is in our sexual rhythms. It is in the expansion and contraction of the universe. It is everywhere where life (and death) is.
The alerts on this site are made to help you get in touch with these rhythms. Not because you need more information in your life, but because it's nice to feel connected. It is easy to forget you are connected to a huge matrix. It is easy to think your life and your decisions are supper important, but the truth is that you are so deeply connected to larger rhythms that most of the time you can sit back and enjoy the ride instead of agonizing over controlling your life.
The Alerts can help you see the larger rhythms and get in tune with them. For example, there is nothing wrong with wanting to start a new project, but why not start it when the rest of the universe is best aligned for that. The spring equinox has always been a good time for starting projects, thus our Equinox and Solstice Alert. The new moon tends to be a more favorable starting time than the full moon, thus the Moon Alert. Of course our life goes on, and sometimes things have to get done. You can't sit around waiting for the universe to be in perfect alignment. But it is good to know where you stand. If you are closing something up, it is useful to know where the moon is at. If it is the new moon, typically a better time for beginnings than endings, you'll know that what you are closing might not close completely until the full moon, for example.
