What is this phantasmal picture? It is a new moon - a kind of moon that you can't come across from Earth … exclude the exciting bits of the solar occult.
A new moon is between the Earth and sun. If it's instantly between, a solar occult occurs. But that does not go on monthly. Alternatively, when every month, the moon gets the whole way round in its ambit and then it's approximately between us and the sun. That's the new moon: a moon with lighted half that is looking totally aside from Earth.
A new moon ascends once the dawns and goes down when the sundown comes. It covers the sky with the sun on daytime. For each new lunar round is calculated commencing for each new moon. Astronomers address one lunar round as “lunation.”
