His first name literally means Majesty of Religion, Jalal means majesty and din means religion. Because of the threat of Mongol invasion in Persia his family fled, finally settling in Konya, Turkey. How to become a Wicca practitioner?

So you want to become a Wiccan? Before you proceed to understand how to become a wiccan it would be beneficial to you if you pause and examine your motivation. If you want to become a wiccan because you want to cast spells and gain power over people, it would be better if you desist in the attempt. A true Wiccan is forbidden from using rituals and magick for manipulation, coercion or harm. The Wiccan Rede demands that spells must be used for the good of all mankind. The Wiccan must fill his heart with love and all rituals must open the heart to greater love.
If you are convinced about your motives, you must practice the spiritual traditions associated with the belief sincerely. You will only begin to experience the rituals fully when you have developed an understanding of the important rituals of the tradition and the roles adopted by persons trained specifically to perform such rituals.

What it means to be a witch or warlock?

How does it feel to be a witch or warlock? No different from what it feels to be a Christian or a Buddhist, a Doctor or a Lawyer. Does that surprise you? Why? Witchcraft is not a religion. 2000 years of misrepresentation has caused confusion and even fear of witchcraft. Witchcraft is the practical application of psychic sciences and occult arts for the betterment of mankind. The witch is an independent practitioner of magic and the “poor man’s psychologist”. She or he is expected to have in the store remedies for problems with love, luck, money, and psychic insights into the lives of people and to rid the people of the troubles that surround them.

New moon

What is this phantasmal picture? It is a new moon - a kind of moon that you can't come across from Earth … exclude the exciting bits of the solar occult.
A new moon is between the Earth and sun. If it's instantly between, a solar occult occurs. But that does not go on monthly. Alternatively, when every month, the moon gets the whole way round in its ambit and then it's approximately between us and the sun. That's the new moon: a moon with lighted half that is looking totally aside from Earth.
A new moon ascends once the dawns and goes down when the sundown comes. It covers the sky with the sun on daytime. For each new lunar round is calculated commencing for each new moon. Astronomers address one lunar round as “lunation.”

Waning crescent

A going down semi lunar moon — sometimes addressed as “old moon”—is caught in the east just before aurora. At present the moon has displaced closely wholly round in its area of Earth, as calculated from one new phase of the moon to the following.
Since the moon is almost on align with the Earth and sun once more, the “day face” of the moon is looking generally aside from us again. We see entirely a thin divide of the moon’s day face: a semi lunar moon. Each dawn before aurora, as the moon is going eastward in area round Earth, the moon comes along nearer to the daybreak blaze. We discover less and less of the moon’s daytime face, and so the semi lunar in the east just before dawn seems slenderer every day.

Last quarter

Final quarter moon goes on three weeks afterwards the new moon. At present, as determined from higher up, the moon in its area round Earth is at proper angles to align between the Earth and sun. The moon is at present three-quarters of the path round in its area of Earth, as calculated from one new moon to the following.
A final after part moon appears half-lighted. It ascends round midnight, comes along at its most eminent in the sky at aurora, and adjusts at noon. Afterwards, the moon will start bordering perceptibly nearer to the sun once more on the sky’s vault. Less people acknowledge the moon on the daytime from almost final after part on, since the sun’s blaze begins to rule the moon.

Waning gibbous

A going down crooked moon sweeps across the eastern skyline in the hours between sundown and midnight. It is by full at present . . . Coming along to a lesser degree full but to a higher degree half illuminated.
What can I tell on a going down crooked moon? Just that it can astonish you if you chance to be out recently in the evening. It ascends spookily some hours after sundown, radiating red as if a full moon once it’s almost in the skyline. Sometimes it appears as if a malformed ringer of a full moon.
Since it ascends lately at nighttime, the going down crooked moon motivates people to begin saying, “Where's the moon? I searched for it the other night and I could not see it.” It also starts a blizzard of doubts watching the moon on the day. If it ascends late at nighttime, you know the going down crooked moon has to set after aurora. As a matter of fact, in the few days later full moon often is seen as going down crooked moon in the west in early break of day, drifting versus the blanch blue sky.
